The Revival Prayer Band is the thrust behind the Coming Home Area-Wide Crusade. D.L. Moody said, "Every movement of God can be traced to a kneeling figure."
We believe the "effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 5:16).
This band of prayer warriors consists of folks who have committed to making a substantial investment in the following four areas:
A. Sowing through Personal Prayer – Nothing of any eternal value has been accomplished without bent knees. This band of prayer warriors has committed to a daily personal sacrifice of interceding for souls and praying for this meeting. Those that have joined this effort receive regular updates, specific prayer requests, and revival promises that will aid them in effective praying.
B. Sowing through Corporate Prayer – Those a part of the Revival Prayer Band have been asked to join a monthly, then weekly, and eventually a daily prayer meeting leading up to the Coming Home Area-wide. These will be held in the local churches and will culminate in prayer meetings consisting of all the prayer band members. The specific dates are listed below.
C. Sowing Financially – There are a number of expenses entailed in this type of meeting. Thus, the prayer band members have committed to sow at least $10.00 each month toward this effort. Prayerfully consider in what way God would have you invest in the Coming Home Area-wide Meeting.
D. Sowing through Soulwinning – After spending much time on our knees together for souls, a natural by-product is to reach out to the lost with the gospel. The final commitment given by our prayer band members is that they would bring at least one unsaved visitor to each night of the area-wide. We believe that God can do great and mighty things if we will but call upon His name.
